Like all Tamnavulin, this whisky starts life in American ex-bourbon casks and is then finished in German Pinot Noir red wine casks. Expect the addition of cherries and ginger spice to their classic sweet, smooth and fruity house style. In the glass, a golden rosewood colour. Tamnavulin Sherry Cask Edition is a rich and indulgent single malt that showcases the distillery's signature smoothness with an added layer of depth. Initially matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks to develop a soft, mellow character, it is then finished in hand-selected sherry casks from esteemed cooperages in southern Spain. The result is a whisky with a warm amber gold hue and a rich flavour profile. On the nose, expect notes of vanilla, caramel, banana, and a touch of sweet milk chocolate with fresh ginger. The palate unfolds in layers of maple syrup, raisin, and orange, rounded out with hints of apricot and melon.

The Dalmore 15 year old was first launched in 2007. Matured in Matusalem, Apostoles and Amoroso Sherry casks, it proffers all those winter spice, orange zest and chocolate notes characteristic of Dalmore.
